Twelve Stones Ministries (TS) was established to come alongside the local church. We realize at best we are an attendant to the bride. With this in mind we are excited to assist in helping the church to capture the full vision of caring for its members both publically in a congregate sense and privately in the cellular sense.
TS Leadership
Before sharing what our team and ministry can offer you in the way of training for your leadership and/or church, we would like to share a bit about our founders and their history. Dr. Garrett Higbee is the founder and Executive Director of TS. Dr. Higbee was trained as a clinical psychologist with a specialty in family counseling. In the early 1990’s Garrett had an epiphany: God showed him lasting and true hope through Christ and His Word. He has over 25 years of experience with couples, families, and youth both in the areas of counseling and training others. Before being called to start TS he was on staff at College Park Church in Indianapolis where he developed a strong lay ministry serving over 100 counselees a week. Since starting TS he has been a frequent speaker with the purpose of helping multiple churches, Christian organizations, and seminaries embrace soul care as a privilege and responsibility. Robb Besosa is co-founder and Program Director of TS and has 10+ years of counseling and leadership training. He sometimes accompanies Dr. Higbee and facilitates break out groups for leaders.

*Dr. Higbee speak to entire congregation regarding Soul Care
This type of conference focuses on how to get the whole church involved in caring for those who are hurting. We can adapt topics to fit your needs and we would be happy to talk with you about how we can best help your church be purposeful in caring for the hurting within your body. *In the past Dr. Higbee has been asked to preach on Sunday to the whole congregation as a way to invite the body into the soul care conversation. This has generated a lot of energy and helps the leaders to make immediate application and take action in small groups, adult bible fellowship, men’s and women’s ministry events, and others smaller group formats.
Another avenue for equipping your leadership teams is to visit the TS campus and conduct a retreat here. We would work together to design the time specifically for your group. Our general purpose is again to help your leadership team develop a plan to care for the hurting within your body or community in an intentional and God honoring way.
Again, we would strongly encourage you to visit our web site for more information about our ministry. If we can be of any further assistance don’t hesitate to contact us. May God richly bless you as you seek to serve both the healthy and the hurting within your community.
